Barcelona Arts Summer School is back in 2026 with a brand-new edition: two intensive weeks in Barcelona (from July 5th to 19th) where film, music, and performing arts collide to experiment, cross boundaries, and create powerful collective projects.
An initiative by ESCAC, Institut del Teatre and us, ESMUC, supported by the Barcelona City Council and the Government of Catalonia, offering 150 spots for young artists from top schools around the world.
Here you have the informative dossier. Just to let you remember: Joining BASS is completely free of charge. Tuition, materials, and workspace are all covered, as well as accident insurance for selected participants who only need to cover personal expenses.
We ask you to disseminate this communication in your school or university so that students can apply directly and individually.
How to apply?
They should fill out the application form before the end of Februrary
In the form, potenital participants will need to include two items, in English, shared via an open/public link (no password):
1️⃣ CV or portfolio, so we can get to know your work.
2️⃣ Videopitch (1–2 min): tell us why you want to be part of BASS and what you can bring to this interdisciplinary and collective experience. Why should we choose you? Be creative, authentic, and surprise us! We’re not looking for a perfect production — we want to see your energy, your curiosity, and your desire to jump into this adventure.
